Technical Regulations TR CU/ TR EAEU

Technical regulations TR CU/ TR EAEU ensure the safety of products that are put into circulation within the Eurasian Economic Union.

In 2015, the following five states formed the Eurasian Economic Union: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Technical regulations were developed to create a uniform system of non-tariff regulation within the Union. These are still valid today as the legal basis for the trading and use of products in the EAEU and specify mandatory requirements for these products.

With the establishment of the EAEU, the document “Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union” was adopted by the Eurasian Economic Commission. With the enactment of this document, all previously applicable national regulations and standards of the EAEU member states were replaced by the mandatory and uniform technical regulations of the EAEU. Products that are not subject to any technical regulations of the EAEU continue to be certified according to national standards of the respective member state.

Today, 49 technical regulations are in force in the Eurasian Economic Union. Each technical regulation is aimed at ensuring safety of life and health of citizens, safety of property, environmental protection, protection of plants and animals, and prevention of misleading actions.

WR Group provides certification of products according to current technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union TR CU/ TR EAEU and thereby ensures smooth export of goods and equipment to each of the five EAEU member countries.
